Simulators
Collège Air Richelieu uses state-of-the-art simulators for flight training. This technology has the advantage of reducing flight training hours and increasing the quality of the training provided.
ALX
AL200 MCC
AL50
The ALX is the simulator of the future. Ultra-realistic with its 220-degree panoramic view, it features all the controls of a real cockpit. The device is capable of reproducing the instrument panels and the piloting sensations of a dozen different aircraft models. Among other things, it simulates:
- Twin-engine piston with classic or glass cockpit instrumentation (Piper Seminole type).
- Twin-engine light turboprop with glass cockpit instrumentation (King Air 200 type).
- Twin-engine light jet with glass cockpit instrumentation, complex system and 2 FMS (Citation jet type).
- Twin-engine medium-range turboprop with glass cockpit instrumentation, complex system and 2 FMS (DASH-8, ATR72 type).
- Twin-engine medium-range jet with glass cockpit instrumentation, complex system and 2 FMS (B737, A320 type).
Certified for renewal of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) ratings, it projects environments that replicate all North American and European airports in all possible weather conditions.
After completing the transitional jet training, you will be ready to train to fly an airliner (such as Boeing 737, Airbus A320, etc.).
With its 208-degree panoramic view, its electric controls and its modern dashboard, the AL 200 MCC provides a highly realistic environment. It simulates the Cessna 172, PA 44 Seminole and King Air 200.
Certified for renewal of the Instrument Rating (IFR), it allows you to practice the various IFR approaches anywhere in North America.
The AL50 faithfully reproduces the Cessna 172. It is mainly used for Private Pilot Licence training.
Jazz Pathway
This pathway was set up with the collaboration of Jazz Aviation to give our most deserving instructors and students (in ATPL-integrated college programs) direct access to selection interviews. A pathway with Airmedic has also been established.
A. T. O.
Approved Training Organization
Building on its excellent reputation, Collège Air Richelieu signed an agreement with Transport Canada in 2020, certifying the college as an Approved Training Organization (ATO).
