Flight Training Programs

Air Richelieu College is proud to offer multiple training programs for candidates who wish to make a career out of it, or for the candidate who whishes to make it a exciting hobby. Our programs allow the student to obtain their commercial, private pilot licence, along with the multi engine, instruments and night rating and a diploma that is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Science of Quebec (MHESR) - Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de la Science du Québec (MESRS), and by the departments of education in different countries.

Recreational Pilot Permit (RPP)

Act as pilot-in-command of an airplane (maximum one passenger) and act as pilot-in-command of an ultra-light aircraft.

Training
  • 40 hours of ground school instruction
  • 35 hours of flight training
Requirements
  • 16 years of age
  • Hold a valid Category 3 Medical Certificate
  • Obtain the required marks on the written examination
  • Successfully complete a flight test
