For the individual who wishes to become a pilot as a career professional, flying an aircraft is one of the best jobs in the world. To become a professional, the student will have to follow a commercial pilot training with a multiengine and instrument ratings. There are several ways of getting your commercial pilot licence. This training lasts 12 to 18 months. Once this training is completed, the student, now a commercial pilot, will have the opportunity if he or she so desire, to follow an additional Flight instructor training in order to work at Air Richelieu as an instructor. This is a traditional way of building up your experience to ultimately being recruited by other airlines (Charter flights, bush operators or regional carriers…).
Air Richelieu is the only accredited flight training center in the world to deliver both Canadian and American licences at the same time, under the same roof.
…A FASCINATING LEISURE ACTIVITY
The dream of flying within you is awakening? Don’t hold it any longer! If you wish to learn how to fly for your pleasure, you will have to follow Private Pilot training. This training will lasts between 3 months and a year depending on the pace given to your training. Once this training completed, you will be able to rent one of our many brand new aircraft to bring along family and friends. Further to this basic training, you will be able to add different ratings to your pilot licence such as night flying, multiengine or instrument, giving you even more flexibility.…PILOT FOR A DAY
Still undecided? You may then want to take advantage of our ‘Pilot for a day’ program. By doing so, you will be able to discover the joy of flying without undergoing a complete training right away. In this program you will receive a basic ground training, followed by a flight simulator session and finally your first flight by putting into practice everything that you have learned throughout the day...Now that sounds worth trying??!| Program : | 30 minutes ground class |
